Wine tourism development strategy

Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, in cooperation with the Wine Committee of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region of France and GIZ Armenia, initiated the development of a strategy for the development of wine tourism in Armenia. In the preparatory phase of strategy development, in order to study the sector in depth and carry out a needs assessment, agricultural program specialist Patrik Niveau met with Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan, Director of the Foundation Zaruhi Muradyan and Chairperson of the RA Tourism Committee Sisian Bogossian.

As part of the project, Patrick Niveau had tours in the wineries of Armenia, studied the field and got acquainted with Armenian winemakers.
