The Armenian delegation took part in Green Week 2024 (Grüne Woche) in Berlin, with a joint national wine pavilion featuring products of 13 companies. It is the world's largest consumer trade fair, an important platform for the beverage and food industry.
Participation in the exhibition is important not only for the recognition and visibility of Armenian wine in the target market, but also for the country branding, as the exhibition annually hosts more than 300,000 visitors from all over the world.
During Green Week 2024, friends of the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, Tamlin Currin, senior editor at JancisRobinson.com, and wine journalist Thomas Brandl visited the Armenian pavilion, tasted our unique wines and talked with Armenian producers.
International experts also organised a tasting-presentation of Armenian wines, inviting international wine experts, journalists and more than 20 famous specialists. Tamlin Currin presented Armenian wines and their history to the guests. She also told them about her visit to Armenia and her impressions from our country. Producers of all presented wines also had the opportunity to introduce themselves and answer questions.
The feedback of the guests allows us to think about new collaborations to come.
The Armenian delegation also visited the Berlin logistics center of the winesofarmenia.store online platform to get acquainted with the wines available on the platform and to discuss issues related to the promotion of winesofarmenia.store.
The project was implemented with the support of GIZ.
